Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: October 15, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how DAB Advisors LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you visit dabconsultants.com, request a quote, apply to join our team, or talk with us by phone, email or text message. DAB Advisors LLC is an independent, licensed insurance agency. We are not a government agency or an insurance company.
2. Information We Collect
- Information you give us on our forms, such as your name, email address, mobile number, ZIP code, the coverage you are interested in, and who in your household needs coverage.
- Information you share with your advisor later, by phone, video or in person, when it is needed to quote or apply for coverage, such as dates of birth, household size, income (for Marketplace savings), current coverage, doctors and prescriptions.
- Careers applications, such as licensing status and background.
- Text messaging consent records, including the date, time and method of your opt-in.
- Basic technical data collected automatically when you visit, such as browser type, device, pages viewed and IP address.
Our website forms do not ask for your Social Security number, bank or card details, or medical history. Please do not send that information through our website forms.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your request and have a licensed advisor follow up
- To prepare quotes and help you compare and apply for coverage
- To service your policy after enrollment, including renewals, changes and questions
- To send appointment reminders and policy, enrollment and renewal updates
- To review applications to join our team and schedule interviews
- To send marketing messages, only if you have agreed to receive them
- To meet legal, regulatory and insurance licensing requirements
4. Calls, Texts and Consent
When you submit a form, you ask us to contact you about your request by phone, email or text. Text messages are sent only if you check a text messaging consent box on our forms or text us first, and marketing texts are sent only if you separately agree to them. Consent to receive calls or texts is never a condition of purchase. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any text, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or contacting us.
5. Text Messaging (SMS) Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all information-sharing categories described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.
We use your mobile number only to send the text messages you agreed to receive. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. See our Terms of Service for full program details.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated companies for their own marketing. We share information only as needed to serve you:
- Insurance companies, when you ask us to quote or apply for a policy with them.
- Licensed advisors on our team who help with your request or policy.
- Service providers that help us operate, such as our website host and form processor, CRM and texting platform, scheduling, phone and email tools. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
- Regulators and legal requirements, when required by law, subpoena or insurance regulation, or to protect our rights.
None of the categories above include text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which is never shared with third parties.
If you buy a policy, the insurance company that issues it will also give you its own privacy notice describing how it handles your information. Insurance information is also protected under federal and state insurance privacy laws.
7. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses only the cookies and similar tools needed for the site to work and to understand basic site use. We do not currently use advertising pixels or sell browsing data. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.
8. Health Information
Our website does not collect medical or health history. If health details are needed to quote or apply for a plan, your advisor collects them directly and uses them only to find and apply for coverage with the insurance company you choose.
9. How Long We Keep Information
For clients, we keep records for as long as your policy is active and for the period afterward required by insurance record-keeping laws. For people who contact us but do not become clients, we keep information for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Text messaging consent records are kept as long as needed to show that consent was given.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (https) connections and limiting access to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights and Choices
- Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you
- Opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP, and out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link
- Ask us not to use your information for marketing
To make a request, email devyn@dabconsultants.com or call (941) 244-9946. We will respond within 30 days. Some information may need to be kept to meet legal or insurance record-keeping requirements. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, including California and Florida, may have additional rights, and we honor these requests from residents of every state. We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
12. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults 18 and older. When a parent or guardian shares a child's age to quote family coverage, we use it only to arrange that household's coverage. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children, and we will delete it if we learn we have.
13. Changes to This Policy
